crysis vs uncharted

The other day I decided to pickup two games that I had been craving for some time now. Yes, I’m talking about crysis and uncharted. My parents told me they wouldn’t buy me any games for Christmas, so I figured I’d get them instead. I mean, I have 2 weeks off work with nothing to do…I needed something to do to keep myself busy. I started playing crysis and was a little disappointed as to how it ran on my computer. I decided to hold off a little until either the makers of crysis released the first patch, or until nvidia released an updated driver.
Until then, I played uncharted on the ps3. This was a pretty good game, but if anyone out there has played farcry, and ended up being disappointed because of the monsters that showed up about half way through, they you may be disappointed with uncharted too. The game was very good other than the “creatures” that showed up. Probably the only other downfall of the game is the length. I beat it in under 9 hours on normal. They definitely could have extended the game more.
A few days after beating uncharted, I checked nvidia’s site and low and behold, a new driver. Directions-> Download. Install. Crysis. The performance of the game increase a small amount with the new driver, but nothing substantial. I guess I was hoping too much that my fps would increase on average by about 10, instead of it being around 5 extra. But still, it was good enough for me to finish the game, sort of.
The final level of the game seems like it was rushed. My fps on the level was not consistent with anything that I had gotten prior to reaching the area. The shadows were really a mess. Then for the final alien you have to beat in the game, you are given a special gun and told to lock on and then shoot. Well, this it probably the worst bug in the entire game. It actually prevents you from completing the game unless, and here is the solution I found…
Change your resolution to 800×600. Apparently the gun will not lock on to the alien at higher resolutions.
So anyway, I ended up beating both games that were supposed to last me until I went back to work on the 7th, and I beat both of them the last day of work before my break.
What am I supposed to do now?!?!?!?
